ALEXAN, FT. LAUDERDALE.
This project is a premier rental apartment project developed by the Trammel
Crow Residential Group. It consists of four buildings, five and seven stories
tall – including 272 apartments – wrapped around a precast parking
structure. By using tunnel form construction to build the structure, the construction
pace was impressive, resulting in completion of the 496,000-square-foot structure
in nine months.

VISTANA VILLAGE
BUILDINGS 23/24/25/26
Located in Orlando, Florida, Vista Village is a 264-unit timeshare project
undertaken by KD Construction for Starwood Resorts – one of the largest
timeshare and hotel developers in the world. The four structures were built
with tunnel form construction, and because of the efficiencies of casting
walls and slabs at the same time, each six story building was completed in
about eight weeks.

HIBISCUS CONDOMINIUM
Located in Panama City, Florida, Hibiscus By The Bay is a new waterfront
condominium development on St. Andrews Bay. Tunnel form construction was used
to build the twelve story structures for two luxury towers. Southland Contracting
was pleased with the speed and quality produced with the tunnel form system
brought to bear on the project by KD Construction.

AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY
UNDERGRADUATE HOUSING
Located in Collier County in Florida, Ave Maria University is the first
new Catholic university founded in the United States in 50 years. The Haskell
Company is currently constructing a new four story 554 unit-undergraduate
student housing building to service the facility. KD Construction is utilizing
tunnel form construction with masonry exterior walls to build the structure,
completing this 160,000 square foot building in just four months.
